Mark rejoined Wellspring Group in 2021 as a consultant to help develop a more expansive church coaching track aligned with new partnering initiatives and objectives. He held a prior role on the staff as the Church Partnership Coordinator from 2014-2019 in supporting new and existing church partners, developing materials to guide the partnering process and to assist with overall ministry goals including equipping, marketing, recruiting and donor development. Mark graduated from Vanderbilt University with a dual degree in Math and Physics. His ministry background in facilitating ministry teams and small groups, pastoral care, lay counseling and teaching at his local church as well as a 33-year career in telecommunications gave him the management and interpersonal skills he has needed to wear his many hats being part the Wellspring Team over the years. He has also had the distinct and humbling privilege to participate in bringing the Battle process to another culture in central Europe.

Personally, engaging in Battle for the Heart process has reenergized his spiritual journey and generated new and deeper avenues of connection and impact in every relational context: marital, family, friendships, ministry. He married his high school sweetheart Melany in 1979 and has 2 sons and 3 beautiful granddaughters. He dreams of returning to Italy to discover more about his father’s Italian roots, enjoys travel in general and exploring new places and foods and hopes to investigate further his extended family’s genealogy and history.
